Going to upload the binary and source too? I'd like to see how you did the language thing personally as I don't think I've ever seen that in a alternative shell.. Is it just an api query or were you able to get MS's stuff somehow into the clock area?

What about this Volume at the menu as a plugin? With configurations like size. I don't like it because it make the menu more large.

plugins can't be inserted into menu, only into slit :(

i think we need menu+systembar+slit generalized interface.

Post Not on Win98
Suddenly BBLean isn't so lean anymore in this 1.16 Mod. Of course, that's a moot point, since I can't get it to run on Windows 98. I get two error messages right on top of each other when I try to run Blackbox.exe:
Quote:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Quote:
Error Starting Program
The PSAPI.DLL file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtAllocateVirtualMemory.

I'm just guessing here, but I'd have to say this was compiled under an NT derivative (Win2K or XP) and linked to dlls only found in NT environments. Bummer for those of us still running 98.

Great work, Alex. Trouble is, the menu behaves stangely. Namely, it's always on top, even when told not to be... Plus, the volume addition makes for a fat menu. Again, width can't be controlled... Any suggestions?

This can be corrected using the "Maximal Width" setting under Menu Configuration.

To use the volume bar u have to edit your menu.rc, adding this line between [nop]s:

[volume] (Volume)

So, it would look something like this:

[nop]
[volume] (Volume)
[nop]

If u place the volume at the end of ur menu.rc, make sure to add this at the end:

[end]
