Post FreeStyler 4.0.1
============================================================================
FreeStyler 4.0.1
Copyright © 2002-2006 Karl-Henrik Henriksson [qwilk]
http://xoblite.net/ - #bb4win on irc.freenode.net
============================================================================

Download -> http://xoblite.net/plugins.html
Screenshot -> http://www.boxshots.org/index.php?action=info&cat=ss&id=3425

- The natural yet radical evolution of my old GradTest plugin
- Style designer/tweaker/previewer plugin (incl. drag'n'drop preview)
- Support for both the old and new (bb4nix 0.70) *box style syntaxes
- Style editing using comprehensive menus and/or quick keyboard commands
- Integrated colour picker to extract colours from e.g. a wallpaper
- Clone settings from one style element to another
- Save changes back to the style with syntax auto detection
- Supports both bb4nix (default) and bbLeanSkin baselines (e.g. glyph size)
- ...and of course compatible with *ALL* branches: bb4win/xoblite/bbLean! :D

Now, if you found that executive summary a bit *too* short, you're right.
While I could probably spend ages on writing the perfect readme, this time
around I'd actually prefer if you just loaded the plugin and played with it
for a while to make up your own opinion about what it is and what it's not,
based on your own experience. You'll find some information about how to use
FreeStyler inside the plugin itself - just click the unshade button in the
upper left corner of the window, then read the "about" pages inside.
By the way, don't worry if you happen to click the close or minimize button;
you can get FreeStyler back using the following broadcast message (bro@m):

@FreeStyler ToggleWindow

Enjoy! :D

BR//Karl -> qwilk

PS. FreeStyler uses one of the fonts from the *box font pack for drawing
the information on the about screen, so please make sure you have downloaded
-> http://xoblite.net/ -> and installed the font pack, otherwise the about
screen text will likely look a bit scrambled. You have been warned!!! ;)

I didn't expect a birthday present from someone who didn't know about my birthday. It appears that Swedish Intelligence is much better than I had previously thought...

Thanks for the awesome work Karl.

This is a totally must have plugin. Thanks Qwilk.

I have a feeling styles are actually going to get higher quality with this. Question: if you accidently click the hide button, how do you bring it back without editing the rc file?

Are you planning on doing one of these for the toolbar and menu?

You could have a toolbar and menu represented in the window area as a preview.

Thanks Gary! :D

@FreeStyler ToggleWindow

...as for the other comments, I guess my lips are sealed! ;)
(though it won't be anytime soon; I really need some time off after FreeStyler and xoblite bb3...)

I don't blame you, I'd need time out after just Xoblite... lol.

Thanks for that broam, comes in handy.. seems I'm always clicking that button by accident.. lol

I do love the level of control you can get through the over all design of the Window elements though. Almost like you get a tighter look.

Also makes for a great tool for screenshots.. just open that instead of two seperate programs

How do you re-open the plugin after you click the close button? :D

Never mind. I'll read the thread next time :wink:

HOLY CRAP! This is amazing! I see a future with many new styles with the new syntax(es) (since some of us are too lazy to open up notepad =P)

Yeah... it's not there?

Last thing I think it might be is the GradTest from '03...?

The only gripe I have about the plugin is that IT'S buttons looks better then leanskin's.. lol I wish there was a way to get leanskins buttons to match those of Freestyler. (Size wise that is)

Thanx, Liam, I finally found it... It probably was a Firefox thing (loading older page from cookies...)
