Quote: The reference to TangoPatcher is to the application itself - not the icons location What? To recap: me wrote: My XP install has TangoPatcher installed but I tried this on a virtual machine as well, with the default XP icons. Same thing happened. Virtual machine install is in an almost completely stock configuration. you wrote: It looks like an issue with TangoPatcher me wrote: It's not TangoPatcher, as I explained. If TangoPatcher screwed up the locations of Icons, bb4win_mod wouldn't be the only app affected. Look, I just booted into my un-patched virtual machine: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7906 ... shotbu.png you wrote: The reference to TangoPatcher is to the application itself - not the icons location Excuse my impatience and bolded text but TangoPatcher cannot affect a Windows install, upon which TangoPatcher is not installed.First time you ignored what I said and insisted it was an application that wasn't even installed on one of the affected Windows installs, second time you didn't even contradict me; you just replied with what appears to be a non sequitur. Quote: There is an Edit Menu - 8th item down in the SettingsMenu There is no eighth item in the settings menu. Quote: If you wish to access the RC files for installed plugins - ShiftRightClick the item in the Plugins list in the SettingsMenu Where is this feature advertised?

- Is the icon numbering in TangoPatcher 0-based or 1-based?
- You no longer have a "vanilla" installation. On a "vanilla" install, Edit is the eighth item in the SettingsMenu
- My apologies for not fully incorporating a late change in the documentation
- Please refer to the doumentation in the "vanilla" main menu
- Choose Changes in the navigation frame
- Go to 01 June 2009
- Refer to the second item (under the sub-heading Blackbox)

Quote: Is the icon numbering in TangoPatcher 0-based or 1-based? I wouldn't have a clue. As far as I'm aware, all it does is backup various resource files, editing the current ones to replace the pixmaps. TangoPatcher would have no reason to alter the offset of any of the system icons and it would have a very good reason not to, as it would break more than just your specific branch of bb4win. Again, you're barking up the wrong tree with your TangoPatcher questions. I've got one install of Windows that is only a few weeks old, does not have and has never had TangoPatcher on it and a freshly unzipped bb4win_mod's icons are still messed up. For the record, all you need to do to fix the shell folder paths is remove the custom icon setting (remove the <*.dll, *>'s), letting the shell paths set their own icons. Fixing the explorer and System submenu icons is a different matter but at least it would be some progress. Quote: You no longer have a "vanilla" installation. On a "vanilla" install, Edit is the eighth item in the SettingsMenu My apologies. I tried the default copy of bb4win_mod I've got lying around: when the slit is enabled, it adds another menu item, bringing the grand total up to eight - but still, none of them are edit menus. It's just the ones in my earlier screenshot, plus the slit menu.

At that time, IIRC the same icons appeared in all the install s.... The present release is *not* the *final* version, and the icon numbering will be revisited accordingly. etnlIcarus wrote: unkamunka wrote: You no longer have a "vanilla" installation. In that folder is a file called edit.rc (which generates the Edit submenu)...... Try looking in the *.zip file - if you still have it

It belongs in the docs folder..... (It was in the zip files for all the betas - looks like it got caught out by a late edit to the makefile)

As far as I know alt+tab always shows all running programs, including the ones on other workspaces. At the moment I'm running BBClean (based on 1.16) and it has the same behavior.

Check Settings|Misc|Workspaces|Alternative Method. This is ON by default in bbLean 1.17 & OFF by default in bb4win_mod (in order to deliver better support for bbPager).

I will keep in mind that this could have an adverse affect upon bbPager. Thank you!!!

 Re: bb4win_mod 7.11 - bbMien updated :D
Howdy. I am just now trying bb4win_mod out after using bbmien for a while. Just wondering whats up with the style changing randomly every couple of minutes. How do I disable that?
Thanks in advance

To disable style changes, either: - Right-click on bbStyle, choose Edit bbStyle values & uncheck Timer Style Change, or
- unload bbStyle from your list of installed plugins

 Re: bb4win_mod 7.11 - bbMien updated :D
Hi, me again. I was wondering about the @BBCore.MoveWindow and @BBCore.ResizeWindow broams. Do they accept arguments?
I was hoping I could do something like @BBCore.MoveWindow -x55 -y40 to move the active window to a specific place on the screen and @BBCore.ResizeWindow 300x200 to make the active window a specific size.
Is this possible and if so, what's the correct syntax?
