Well, then place the taskbar in the center, and it'll grow in both directions. Granted, that'll only work as long as you have one iconbox. Unless you place a second one at the bottom, also in the center.
What are you trying to accomplish? Run BB without BBLeanBar/SystemBarEx?

Assuming that the iconboxes your using for tasks and tray are at the top of your screen... In your menu, navigate to: Blackbox --> Configuration --> Misc. --> Desktop Margins. Set the Top margin to the height of the iconboxes heights then, make sure that Full Maximization is toggled off.

Reconfigure

So, you want a fully maximized window with the iconboxes on top?

Then, go back and set your Top margin to -1 (automatic) and get into your bbIconBox menu on both iconboxes and go to: Configuration and toggle Always On Top enabled.

Because (if you followed my directions above) Full Maximization is toggled off so.. fully maximized windows conform to the margins that are set. What did you think that setting would do? Toggle it back on to make windows maximize over the entire desktop.

If you end up still having a few pixel gap at the top, open bbLeanSkin.rc and set:
Code:
# - Automatically adjust the systemwide caption
# - height to eliminate a gap at the top of
# - maximized windows. But some apps might draw
# - distorted icons with this.
bbleanskin.option.adjustCaptionHeight:  true

Make sure it is set to true.

If you end up with distorted icons in some apps, the only way to fix it is to use Windows Classic themes instead of MS Styles.

If you're running bbLeanBar, you'll find that it will prevent full maximisation on whatever side of the window it is on.

I wish that would be the case. There are lots of programmes who ignore it. Usually the same that ignore the task bar of the original windows shell. For some strange reason that includes some microsoft products. (On top of my head, I can recall Navicat doing that in case anyone will try to reproduce it)
There is apparently a way to calculate maximum screen size that ignores this restriction.

yes, just load bbIconBox in bbInterface Frame and switch bbIconBox Slit option on. But I have many troubles with this, and dont use this feature.

How do you load bbIconBox or actually any plugin into a bbinterface frame? I want bbpager to be present in one of my bbi frames.

Add bbIconbox/bbpager to the slit in the options.

I still don't get it.
I have a BBI button, that acts as a startbutton, reveals a frame, that is an XP-like start menu which I have built to my needs.
The frame has a property called "Make invisible when blackbox loses focus" and also rightclicking the frame is set to hide the frame.
The result is that if I start an application or open a folder from this custom start menu, it disappears. Also alternatively, if it's visible, and I don't start anything from it, but rightclick the frame, it disappears.

My real question is if i can put bbpager onto this frame that appears when the frame gets visible by pressing the startbutton, and disappears together with the frame when it gets hidden by the two methods I described in the previous paragraph.

Many thanks.

BTW it looks like this:
Attachment:
startmenu.jpg
startmenu.jpg [ 223.15 KiB | Viewed 1447 times ]

It is a work in progress, all icon+text buttons will be changed later to images like My Computer and My documents because I use this laptop with and without external monitor in different resolutions, and this way I don't need to make two versions with different textsizes.
The workspace switcher currently is 3 simple BBI buttons with broams like "@BBCore.SwitchToWorkspace 1" and that is what I'd like to change to bbpager.

Sorry for getting this offtopic.

Here are some snippets from an old set-up I used - which seems to be one way of doing what you're looking for:

bbInterface.rc looked like this:
Code:
!---- BBInterface 0.9.9 ----
@BBInterface Plugin SetPluginProperty SnapWindows false
@BBInterface Plugin SetPluginProperty SnapDistance 7
......................

!---- Loaded modules ----
@BBInterface Module Load "e:\Apps\BlackBox\plugins\bbInterface\iPodModule.rc"
......................

!---- Active modules ----
@BBInterface Module Toggle iPodModule
......................
iPodModule.rc looked like this:
Code:
!------ Module: IPodModule
!--------------------

!---- iPodFrame ----
@BBInterface Control Create Frame iPodFrame
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty iPodFrame X 0
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty iPodFrame Y 711
......................

!---- iPodFrame::ExternalPlugins ----
@BBInterface Control ExternalPlugin iPodFrame Load "plugins\bbRun\bbrun.dll"
@BBInterface Control ExternalPlugin iPodFrame SetProperty bbrun IsVisible true
..........................

!---- iPodFrame::iPOD_GROUP ----
@BBInterface Control CreateChild iPodFrame Label iPOD_GROUP
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty iPOD_GROUP X 2
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty iPOD_GROUP Y 2
............................

!---- iPodFrame::PLAY_PREV_NEXT ----
@BBInterface Control CreateChild iPodFrame Button PLAY_PREV_NEXT
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty PLAY_PREV_NEXT X 2
@BBInterface Control SetWindowProperty PLAY_PREV_NEXT Y 20
..............................
The loaded plugins (of which there were several) followed whatever settings applied to the Frame that they were loaded into.
