Help!!.. I have tried bblean and various mods of it.. I thought maybe bbclean and bblan 1.16z would solve my problem.. but Im at lost here.. I am using Miranda Instant messenger.. and whenever I run it, the icons of miranda are all pixelated.. Many other applications I have have also pixelated icon on title bar or somewhere else.. is there a solution to this, is there a setting in some .rc file where I can fix this? bbclean already solved the problem with pixelated icons on for the title-bars of a windows application.. but I dont understand why many applications have still pixelated icons (eg. Miranda IM)
Help would be appreciated.

Turn off MS Styles and use the 'Windows Classic' theme.

Post Re: BBClean (New mod)
HI, I'm new to BBClean.

I got a strange problem. When I minimize a window, the other window will auto be focused.
I've change the mode to "click to focus", but it didn't work for me.

Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks. :D

maybe you just need to configure the icon size, try 16px

Well, I found an error in my extension.rc file.
I set the workplace number "zero" before. : :(
Code:
session.screen0.workspaces:             0

I set it 4 now, and the blackbox works normally. :D

@noccy:

regarding that bbLeanBar-hiding bug. I think the problem lies somewhere at Blackbox.cpp around line 727 (case BB_DESKCLICK:) because some stuff is hidden / brought to top / activated. I experimented a bit with it but i just got weird results so far ^^

if I'd just have more free time I could take a closer look... :/

Post Re: BBClean (New mod)
Hi BBClean users, im using bbclean and i love lots of its new features.. but one thing is that my application menu too slow when openning it first time (ex. after reboot windows). I guess that because of the icon graphic..

Question
- How i disable icon feature for menu?
- Is there any way to tweak the speed of opening menu items (slow on first attemp because of icon graphics)?

Post Re: BBClean (New mod)
Just wanna inform you that I'm still here :) Been working on two separate projects for a little while, and there is still a lot of work left there, but I have more stuff to fix/tweak in bbClean after those are completed.

Got C++ skills? Poking the sourcecode? Read this!
Also, there seem to be a lot of skilled C++ developers here, you can get access to the main bbClean SVN Repository if you are interested in helping out with the development. That means that you will use a SVN client to download and commit the changes you make to the repository, and that we can work on the project as a group. That would make bbClean progress even when real life calls for me :)

Or if you're just poking around but think your poking may be of help
Another option is to submit patches. Just make sure that they are based on the latest SVN source code and post them here or e-mail them to me at "noccy /at/ angelicparticles /dot/ net". Also make sure to specify what changes you have made :) This is valid for the SVN too, where the commit log is used to maintain the version history.

Cheers,
Chris

Post Re: BBClean (New mod)
Hi all.
Short description of my problem : some of my icons won't show in the system tray
(not so) long description :
- bbclean is installed as shell (not running over explorer)
- Avast and DLink manager (my wifi card) icons don't show in the systray
- if I replace bbclean with bbleanMod as my default shell and reboot, all the icons appear.
Any idea why ?

Bingo.

The moment you've all been waiting for!

bbClean 1.16 20071031 is now available for download here so go grab your copy :) It contains features not posted in this thread supplied by EliteForce so I would recommend that you grab it and update :)

The full version features Minimal's "reloaded" style as well as a nice wallpaper to go with it. Enjoy! :)

Oh, and I've received some additional patches per e-mail that I'm going over. Just haven't had much time to spare lately :)

Cheers,
Chris

I get an instant crash starting the new BBClean:

AppName: blackbox.exe AppVer: 0.1.16.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180 Offset: 00032a16

The previous version runs perfectly.

I'm running Windows XP home SP2 (not 64 bits)
on an AMD 64 X2 Dual Core 400+ with 2 GB ram.

Sounds like the same problem Minimal is having. Could you try getting the bbLeanSkin from the previous release and put it in there in place? Seems to be there the problem is :/

Oh and it should say in the file info (properties dialog) what build date the plugin has. Could help you identify the problem :)

Replacing with the old bbleanskin solves the problem.
The new bbleanskin.dll was changed on august 6 2007.
The older version, which works, was changed on june 27 2007.

Same problem with BBLeanSkin this end too.

replacing the folder bbclean-071031\plugins\bbLeanSkin with bbclean-070718\plugins\bbLeanSkin works for me also.

What has changed to cause the error?

Tracking back through the code, and I would guess it's got something to do with my mouse wheel code. I'll just go ahead and update the archives with the latest confirmed working version. Only 2 reports for 50 downloads tho, that's interesting :)
