 Im so lost... questions
First of all, I love shells like this, I was in love with openbox for the short time I had using linux. On windows I am (was) using emerge desktop, but it doesnt quite work as I want.
So, what exactly is the version I should download? Theres bbclean, lean, mien, xob, abc, dfe, zxy, so many different choices... I think this is the more recent in terms of updates, am I right?
Any thing on this one that makes it different from the other ones out there? and the download is that bb4win_mod_0804?
Moving on with the questions ^^' What is that slit option, I see that the bbleanbar is on the slit, but I dont see anything different if I remove it from it. Whats that for? And bro@ams that it looks like a lot of plugins use.
Whats that "enable toolbar" option for, if the toolbar only sits there showing me the clock and the current task? o.O
Looking at the plugins page I found this "bbtaskswitch", really cool, but is there any way to make it show the icons? a similar plugin maybe?
Is it possible to use the middle click to close windows on the taskbar? Right now it tries to move them to another virtual desk, but when they are minimized they never restore.
Ahh, and, how do I disable this win-xmove? for good. I prefer to use taekwindow or winmover to do that.
Sorry for the bunch of questions, but I really couldnt figure out how everything works. Thks

 Re: Im so lost... questions
1: bb4win_mod is a great way to go 2: It's better because it's got all the features and it's the only branch currently in development to my knowledge. 3: The slit is an invisible container for housing other plugins, so you can keep them all in a box, if you will. It's not required however. 4: The toolbar is a legacy feature in bb4win. It used to be all we had until a more feature-rich systembar was made. 5: bbtaskswitch doesn't support icons 6: I don't think it's possible to set what middle-click does on tasks in bb4win_mod. Other branches support this, but I'm not sure which. I believe the systembarex plugin also supports it. 7: To disable win-xmove, close it in your task manager and delete it from your blackbox folder.

Thks for the quick reply. Quote: 2: It's better because it's got all the features and it's the only branch currently in development to my knowledge. Cool, so if I want to update, I should check the forum or does it have an auto update? Quote: 6: I don't think it's possible to set what middle-click does on tasks in bb4win_mod. Other branches support this, but I'm not sure which. I believe the systembarex plugin also supports it.
I see, I was reading the documentation and found how to close apps. Quote: 7: To disable win-xmove, close it in your task manager and delete it from your blackbox folder. Did that, thks Two more questions where should I report bugs? Like the problem with middle click moving windows that are minimized and not restoring them later. any way to disable icons in the menus? I tried looking around the documentation and the files itself, but I must have missed something.

 Re: Im so lost... questions
1: It doesn't auto-update. Not sure if the latest version has been released yet either. You'll have to send unkamunka a message to see. 2: Not sure if that's a bug, but unkamunka is the dev. 3: In your main menu in configuration -> menus -> icons -> icon size -> set to off.

Ahh, I had completely ignored the icon size. Thks. Its all looking great, just got find the time to make the menu more friendly to me. Thks again for all the help. A little offtopic. Your themes are one of the best I've seen, laza2 specially.
