English is my 2nd language, but I'm much better at it than my 1st language - Indonesian. Forget about computer terms in my first language.
Does high school French count? I didn't think so. |

Considering the enormous amount of interest in bb4win and its branches, perhaps we should consider translating some of our documentation? I realize it would be hard for people who don't speak any english to really get any proper support on the forums or in the irc channel, but maybe some documentation could help bring in more users. Whenever Pitkon gets his Bible done, maybe we could start out. I'd help out a bit with the spanish where I can and maybe if Pitkon allows it, we could publish it to a wiki? I realize it's a lot to ask, but I think it is a shame that some people are unable to know the joys of alternate desktops simply because they don't speak english well enough.
EDIT: I'll try to go ahead and start on the Plugin Guide in my spare time. _________________

Part of the reason behind this poll is to determine if there are enough forgein language speakers of a particular language to warrant a forum specificly for their language [ie a Japanese subforum, or Russian, or what not]

From the xoblite.net info provided by qwilk it looks as if a Japanese translation would go down well. I would be willing to translate my plugins if someone would help me out (my japanese is awful and consits of about 3 words, spoken only), other than bable fish
I also speak a small amount of French, Canadian and American as well as my native tongue (Kentish/Yorkshire)
