 Hybrid Font Ideas
Ok, as it stands, it doesn't seem as though I'm going to get permission to post the fonts I have in some of my newer screenshots. So... What I propose is to do fonts that users want pics in.
Perhaps Lucida Grand fonts and such... Maybe a font pack can be made using fonts that are widely used and popular umongst users can be created.
I know the snap, lime..etc fonts are popular and since they are ttf format now, those can easily be done. But what others?
Once I get a good listing and as long as they aren't copywriten I can convert those over to hybrids.

I'd have to say go with the standards. Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, et cetera. Are they, like .. copyrighted and what not? I couldn't tell you. ~lol~

Those fonts I don't know... But I do know that Verdana is sold for commercial use. I actually saw it for sale on MS' site.. lol
As far as the others mentioned though... I know most of those are basis for alot of modified fonts so, they shouldn't be a problem. I'll do a few searches to be sure though.
Using anything that has MS' slapped on it is always iffy... lol... like the box of chocolates quote...

I think Tahoma is the most readable basic font in blackbox size, which is the smallest size in any category. It could be a good not-cool-but-readable-default-hybrid-font. There's probably those legal issues, tho..
Btw, Nightbreed.. What tool are you using to make these hybrids? Nice work it is..

Thanks UnkHz.
I use FontLab's Studio 5 for putting the libraries together. The creation of fonts can be done there or in any vector based apps, like Illustrator, etc.
I'll put up a tahoma one sometime today. Maybe a Lucida Grand one too.
Edit: Here's the Tahoma, I'm not going to attempt Lucida's because I'm too iffy on it's copywrite.
