Post Re: NanoPlayer (in development -- screenshot!)
When I said big impact on CPU I was meaning that CPU load hit 5 to 7 % using direct sound, and only hit max 2% using ASIO.

I use Foobar2000 0.9.4.5. I don't like 0.9.5 mainly cuz of the new playlist management. I like my code. and the way my list looks ATM.

I use Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, Digital / Optical simultaneously.

Digital to headphones. Optical to Z-5500 5.1

Source is mostly HD and DVD audio.

Some source comes from no-bit-limit [spits out raw into a 4gb buffer then samples to what you specify] Optical recording from my a friend who has a sound studio.

WMP11 with the Blackbar skin... works pretty good, and is very unobtrusive in skin mode (it's transparent when out of of focus).

nice... if this gets a media library as good as WMP and sound and equalizer as good as WMP (yes thats what i get the best sound from) it might just become a replacer for my WMP :p

It looks very promising noccy.
I'd definitely switch to it if its commands were accessible via command line.

WMP (11) is quite good.
I would never have suspected it, but since I am forced to use it at work, I've gotten to know it quite well.

I am looking forward to this being MUCH lighter than Foobar and having direct broam or CMD line control.

Soldier on Noccy. Soldier on.

Mmmh.....certainly looks nice.
But I still have to try it to see if it can replace the almighty foobar...
@Noccy: Is there gonna be hotkeysupport? (and I am thinking about GLOBAL hotkeys here, like foobar or winamp support them)

I'm a Foobar user so I would settle for no less ;)

And yes, global hotkey support is a given.

Good to hear/read that.
How much memory/cpu do you think it'll use?

Global hotkeys: Have the app look for broams by default. Use bbkeys to send such broams on keypress. That way the player won't have to scan for keypresses.
