Very interesting. The transparencies in bbiconbox and bbleanbar just seem to turn the background black. And the windowlabel on the left of bbleanbar says 7.11 #-o

[edit]

Neeever mind. I had alpha value on 8.

  • on a style change, the bbLeanBar+ background _will_ turn transparent, :D bbIconBox+ requires an extra step - adjust the Window|AlphaValue *downwards*
  • bbLean 7.11 is to distinguish it from the bbLean 1.16 series (& from bbLean 1.17 itself). There are certain enhancements that arise when the bbLean series number is higher than 1.16

Looks very good. The transparencies is pretty genius. It opens up some interesting possibilities with styling bbleanbar.

[feature request]

Icon spacing and possibly icon labels in bbiconbox...

  • Not sure about your set-up, but for me - on a hi-spec box - IconBoxes tend to eat resources like there's no tomorrow.
  • Customisable icon spacing is probably do-able.
  • Labels for each icon would appear to require much space & making a mouseover features in the TitleBar would seem to be much the same as Tooltips. Is there another possibility here that you could add?

I'm probably wanting bbiconbox to look like idesk, which is probably beyond its scope.

I haven't noticed any resource issues with iconbox, though it takes a while to render a lot of folder/files for me at bb's startup.

I'm wondering if there's any way to put some kind of invisible bounding box around the text in bbleanbar+'s tasks, to make them easier to click when the background is transparent...

Also, leanbar/desktop margin seems to be zero when background is trans.

Here's something you couldn't do previously...

  • An invisible bounding box - by definition - would not be able to accept clicks. :( The practical alternative - for transparent backgrounds - is to have icons available to click on
  • The margin part of the Tasks interface "disappears" with transparent backgrounds. There is no change to the code that actually draws the margin

Rocketdock manages it somehow. I'm clueless though.

RocketDock also has a layering system for allowing apps to selectively handle the "always on top" aspect...... From a quick look at the GUI, I suspect that the underlying codebase is quite different from MingW & _may_ even not be OpenSource.

Wait for bb4win_mod 1.19 - only that (almost certainly) will not be bbStyleMaker-compatible.

EDIT: but then again it might just be...... :D

I can live with that. 8) Using bbleanbar+ with vanilla bblean 1.17 ATM, works great.

Something about font shadows that definitely breaks compatibility with bbstylemaker.

Post Re: bbMien 1.17 - based on bbLean 1.17
Hi. I have some ideas about winxmove improvement.
First, it would be more handy to load winxmove as plugin, but not as independent program (and how the hell it appears at system startup??). And second - exclude-list is a must, bcouse ALT is high-usage key in many win apps (e.g. photoshop).

p.s. thanks for a great work!
