Alternatively it may have to do with icon caching - although on the plugin profile that is being talked about that would seem to be an unlikely cause. If loading uberbox 1.4 & running, say, 5 IconBoxes (as in bbIconBox) accelerates the symptoms, then indeed it may be icon caching.

Must be a Vista/x64-specific problem though because I'm not seeing any such problems under WinXP (running on top of explorer, not as main shell).

I found a location in my tray code where I am leaking Icon handles returned from CopyIcon, so that may explain the climb in handle use and possibly the problem.

And my brother gets the problem on XP 32, but I don't get it on Vista 64, so it appears to be dependant on the type of usage the PC gets rather than the OS

I got the problem, or something similar, on Vista 32. I can't make it happen though, and it's rare. It only seems to happen when I have utorrent running for a long time, but their connection is mere speculation.

uttorent updates its tooltip a lot, so this actually makes me think it might be due to the icon leak in the tray code. I just need get my main pc set up again so I can test a new build and then I'll post a new version with the icon leak fixed.

I have released 0.2.1

This fixes an icon leak in the new tray code. I believe this leak was responsible for the hangs that people have been seeing after using it for a while.
The tray icon hang under Win 95 also appears to have been fixed by this.
I've updated boxBar to 0.1.5

If you are on Win 95/98/ME and use boxBar, please download the ansi version from the boxBar page

It appears to have fixed the issue. And it was pretty much every time I ran uttorent for an extended period. Thanks Carsomyr.

The servers seem to fine, I just tested a download. Make sure you click the link and then select a mirror. Don't try and download the links directly.

I'm having trouble with boxCore. I went from my dual-screen setup, (1 external, 1 laptop monitor) to just my laptop screen, this mis-aligned the menubar thing (not sure what to call it XD) on the left. It went from going from top to bottom to only partially to the top (1/2 way) and I can't see my status bar items and my clock. Any way to realign it correctly?

That's probably due to the different size/resolution of the monitor. The bar you can probably drag into place, to see the other items you'll have to edit their configuration file's x and y coordinates (1,1 may not be ad) so that you'll see them, then you can drag them into place, or maybe you'll have to manually adjust the coordinates.
