Re: Long Live the King!
The King was, is and always will be you, Tres'ni. You are the force (along with some other pioneers) that made Blackbox for Windows known to a huge audience. Your efforts, your determination and your vision made BB4W the shell of choice for a majority of users and the shell with the most-ever styles/themes on the net. Boxshots has the largest repository of styles and screenshots than any other shell site and LostInTheBox is the official forum of every box user - over 2,000 valid members, last time I checked. The fact that you will be right here, besides us, in this new effort to bring BB4W to the 7th Century (Windows speak) gives all of us the extra strength to go on. And many thanks to snk, vrkalak, cthu1hu, thewayofzen, maaneack who helped a lot cleaning up spam and giving this kingdom back to the people Blackbox does live on...

Long Live the King!
Ya know, sometimes picking a title is the hardest part of writing a post.
It's been quite a while since I've actually spent a lot of time here. I do the occasional update to keep things from getting holed too quickly, and every now and again someone send me a link to a thread I need to check out, but time and life have gotten the better of me (and to various extents other moderators and administrators.) There has been new releases and sad good byes (RIP unkamunka), but blackbox lives on.
As you may have noticed, Pitkon has spent considerable time of late getting the forums & bb4win.org in order. He, with the help of snackmchnb and vrkalak, saw to the removal of over 15,000 spam posts and topics that were pending approval, trying to salvage as much of the relevant information in there as possible. Thanks to his efforts and determination, lostinthebox should be a place you can once again count on to discuss your favorite shell, themes, and other everyday topics.
I would also like to take this moment to make an official announcement. I've promoted Pitkon to a site administrator. He's really been the glue keeping things together of late and needs to have access to the right tools to make sure things stay up and running for everyone. Please welcome him into his new role, thank him for his hard work over the years, and offer your assistance where you can.
Love, Peace, & Chicken Grease!
