Thanks for this help. I'm going to check out the bb config on my system and see what changes i can make that can improve the stability of some apps.

Often, when programs crash for no apparent reason under bb, it's an issue with the skinning engine.
That may or may not be the case here, but you could try to run bb without bbLeanskin and see if that makes any difference. If it does, then you'll have to find out which exe a/o dll(s) to add to bbLeanskin's exclusion list if you want to continue to skin your other windows.
You can also try a different version of bb4Win, sometimes that's all it takes. E.g. I was trying out a portable app called MiniLaunchBar under bbClean and whenever I attempted to use one feature (clicking on a button to show a list of apps/icons that weren't shown in the main window), the program would crash. However, it works fine in bbLeanMod and bbWinMod.

Hi, I'm running bblean 1.16 with cygwin's x11. i noticed that a lot of x applications crash when performing the window shade gui operation. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
